TRAINING

• My interest in the global practice of health care led me to study anthropology of medicine and the body at the University of Washington where I earned a bachelor's degree in The Program for the Comparative History of Ideas.

• At Seattle Midwifery School I completed both the Labor Support and Postpartum Support training programs.

• After reading and re-reading both Spiritual Midwifery and Ina May's Guide to Childbirth I attended the Midwifery Assistant Training Program at The Farm Midwifery Center in Summertown TN.
